Racing
One place for the calendar, the courses, sign-on and results. Racing runs on Saturdays from early October to Easter: a handicap start most weeks, scratch starts for championships, and both results published.
Sign-on
You do not need an account on any racing platform to sign on. Crew sign-on works on paper at the club, every Saturday, and the paper route always remains: it survives a flat battery in a boatshed.
Sign-on sheets are printable from each boat's page. The sheet asks which club you are from, and the club uses the answer.
Results
Handicap and scratch results, published together. Results are imported, never retyped.
Visiting sailors
From another club? What races here, when, and how to enter, in under a minute.
The courses
Five numbered courses, chosen on the day for the wind. The start areas keep the racing in view of the club and the shore.
| Course | Wind | Start |
|---|---|---|
| No. 1 North-Easterly course | North-easterly sea breeze | Off Double Bay |
| No. 2 Easterly course | Easterly | Off Kurraba Point |
| No. 3 South-Easterly course | South-easterly | Off Robinsons Point |
| No. 4 Southerly course | Southerly | Athol Bay |
| No. 5 Westerly course | Westerly | Athol Bay |
How the racing is scored
The club's handicap system and point scoring are published on their own pages: the handicap system and the point scoring system. Where the club's manual and the results platform differ on penalties, discards, ties or handicap adjustment, both versions are published as two sourced pages and the reconciliation sits with the sailing committee.
