The Flying Bear, a waterfront cafe on the wharf
The Flying Bear cafe is Kirribilli's best kept secret, nestled on the wharf of the Sydney Flying Squadron with expansive views over Careening Cove. A true waterfront cafe: you reach it from Milsons Park, order at the counter, and take a seat close enough to the water to hear it.
The cafe operates on the lower deck seven days a week. On sailing Saturdays it is the place to watch the historic 18-footers rigged on the park and launched down the ramp beside you.
