Visiting sailors

From another club and want to sail here? The short version:

  • What races: historic 18-footer replicas, plus 12-foot skiffs. The 18s are club boats, so visiting crew join a boat rather than bring one.
  • When: Saturdays, early October to Easter. Rigging from late morning, racing from about 2:15pm.
  • How to enter: crew sign-on at the club on the day. You do not need an account on any racing platform, and the paper sheet always works. The sheet asks which club you are from, and the club uses the answer.
  • Regattas: championship and regatta events appear on the racing calendar with entry routes and deadlines on each event's page.

To arrange a ride ahead of the day, use the returning sailors route: experienced hands are usually placed within the week.
