Rescue boat crew
The rescue boat is the first responder when an 18-footer capsizes, and one usually does once or twice a season. You will be on the water for the whole race, close to the action, working with an experienced driver. Training is provided and no boat licence is needed to crew.
Insurance: Since 30 June 2022 the national body's personal accident policy covers all club volunteers, including volunteers who are not members.
