Mark laying
The marks boat lays the course before the start and recovers it after the finish. Two people, a couple of hours either side of the race, and the best seats on the harbour in between.
Insurance: Since 30 June 2022 the national body's personal accident policy covers all club volunteers, including volunteers who are not members.
