Mainsheet race report for Mark Foy Day, 11 October 2025, the opening race of the season. Australia was a non-starter after a gaff halyard failure, and in shifty conditions swinging from nor'easter to a hard westerly Tangalooma sank near Shark Island, her crew rescued. Yendys, skippered by Michael Van Stom, beat Australia IV (Terry Stewart) by 28 seconds with The Mistake third.
