Reports Race 18 of the 2020-21 season, Race 2 of the Autumn point score, sailed Saturday 27 February 2021. Crew shortages reduced the fleet to six skiffs, starting on handicap off Kurraba Point on the no.2 East course. Australia IV, skippered by T. Stewart, took the lead early and finished almost four minutes ahead of Yendys, then Aberdare, Tangalooma, Britannia and Scot.

Historic 18’s Race Results
Race 18 of the 2020-21 Season and Race 2 of the Autumn series.
Eight boats were in the park, but a shortage of crew ruled two skiffs out leaving six skiffs for the race.
The race got underway from a handicap start off Kurraba Point on the no.2 East course.
Aberdare was best away of the limit skiffs off 15 mins, with Tangalooma and Britannia, then Scot starting well off 14 mins, then a gap to Australia IV (7 mins) and Yendys off scratch.
Australia IV took the lead early to finish almost 4 minutes ahead of Yendys, then Aberdare, Tangalooma, with Britannia just ahead from Scot.
